Football Nation’s league-wide round up providing our readers with a quick update of news from all clubs around the league.

Adelaide:
Adelaide is confessing to the biggest scandal in the AFL club’s 22-year history, and hiring big-hitting public relations agents to find answers to satisfy its members, fans and corporate backers.

Brisbane:
The Brisbane Lions, preparing to send half their squad to a high-altitude camp in Arizona, will excuse star duo Jonathan Brown and Simon Black from the bulk of pre-season training.

Carlton:
After spending the first few weeks of the off-season shedding assistant coaches, the Carlton Football Club has reversed the recent trend by announcing today that former Melbourne player Brad Green has joined the Blues as an assistant coach.

Collingwood:
First it was Scott Pendlebury. Then it was Travis Cloke. Now, according to Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley, it will be Dale Thomas.

Essendon:
Michael Hurley has backed the switch to a more run-based pre-season, saying it could have a big impact on his aerobic effectiveness.

Fremantle:
The Dockers could be forced to cap its seated membership and create a waiting list for the first time in its 18-year history.

Geelong:
Daniel Menzel made his most recent appearance in the AFL only 14 months ago, but the Geelong half-forward admits it often feels like “it’s been three or four years since I was playing at the MCG in those games against Collingwood and Hawthorn”.

Gold Coast:
Karmichael Hunt has declared he had never had thoughts of returning to rugby league and intended playing out his contract with the Gold Coast Suns.

Greater Western Sydney:
Few would have been surprised with last week’s announcement from Israel Folau that AFL wasn’t his cup of tea and he was packing his millions and heading back to a sport he can play – rugby league.

Hawthorn:
More than a month has elapsed since the AFL grand final but Shaun Burgoyne understands no amount of time will ever erase the stinging memory of Hawthorn’s defeat.

Melbourne:
Delisted Brisbane Lion Cheynee Stiller will be given the chance to impress Melbourne coach Mark Neeld and win a surprise AFL lifeline after being given permission to train with the Dees in the lead up to the drafts.

North Melbourne:
The conditions were perfect on Monday and North’s first to four year players were again sweating it out during the start of their second week of pre-season training.

Port Adelaide:
It was only an exhibition match but Port Adelaide’s Brad Ebert could not stop his raw emotions from surfacing in south London.

Richmond:
There was no easing into pre-season training for the young Richmond players now that they’ve started their 2013 campaign.

St Kilda:
Four players from St Kilda’s VFL affiliate Sandringham are training at Linen House Centre in the lead up to the draft: Adam Cockie, Michael Sikora, Chris Michaelides and Jackson Coleman.

Sydney Swans:
Swans defender Rhyce Shaw will try his hand at coaching when his playing days are over, according to his father Ray.

West Coast:
The Eagles still need a small forward to complement key forwards Josh Kennedy and Jack Darling, and the possible solution emerged this week when Brad Dick was promoted to the senior list.

Western Bulldogs:
The Bulldogs have posted a selection photographs taken during their exhibition match in London against Port Adelaide as part of the 2012 AFL European Challenge.
